Popular YouTuber MrBeast has unveiled a $14 million ‘city’ he built as part of his upcoming game show ‘Beast Games’. MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, shared photos from the set for the show on .December 19th is almost here.”
With 335 million subscribers, MrBeast is YouTube’s most popular star. In an interview with fellow YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul, he had revealed that more than $100 million had been spent on the show, which had broken 40 world records.
It will premiere on Amazon Prime and is promoted as “the world’s largest live game show” with the “largest prize in the history of television and streaming” of $5 million.
When asked how he plans to get back the money he spent on the game show, MrBeast said: “The goal is to create the best content possible, not to make money.”
A trailer for the show revealed that “Beast Games” is “the most insane competition show you’ve ever seen” with 1,000 contestants competing for a $5 million grand prize on a giant pirate ship with monster trucks, Navy SEALs and daring stunts.
According to reports, the “city” was built in Toronto. MrBeast’s representative said that items used during the games, such as mattresses, sleeping bags and clothing, were donated to local organizations.

However, the reporting of the show was not without controversy. In a report, The New York Times said some participants revealed they were not given enough food and had to wait hours or even days for their medicine or hygiene supplies.
They also claimed that some of them were injured during challenges and required medical attention. Five of the participants plan to file a class action lawsuit against the YouTuber.
